We are a small garden salon set on the outskirts of Ryde. Our small size means that you will have exclusive use of the salon – perfect for those who are maybe a bit nervous about having a haircut, or children with additional needs that benefit from a more peaceful environment.
With nearly 30 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, you can be sure of a warm welcome, a professional service and a colourful yet relaxing environment.

First Haircut Milestone
We understand that a child’s first haircut is more than just a routine appointment –
it can be an emotional milestone for many families, and we love being part of such a special moment!
We are here to make it fun, gentle and memorable for you and your little one,
complete with a certificate and special keepsake jar for a lock of hair.
Hair Donations
The Kids Hair Studio is an official supporter of Little Lady Locks, an amazing charity that provides hair systems – free of charge – to children suffering from hair loss.
Hair loss due to illness or medical conditions can be devastating for a child, often having a negative impact on their confidence and self esteem.
The wonderful team at Little Lady Locks make, supply and fit wigs, hats and hairbands to cover hair loss patches, making a huge difference to these children’s lives.
Each wig costs the charity £500 to produce, and the hair systems can require up to 8 donated ponytails to create. The Kids Hair Studio has become a nominated drop-off point, collecting hair donations and unwanted hair extensions which will enable them to continue their amazing work.
If you, or anyone you know would like to donate their hair (minimum 7inches), or has any old hair extensions they no longer need, please get in touch.
